IT'S HIGH
TIME WE MEET

Here are some tips for writing your about page. The about page isn’t really about you, it’s about how you can help your ideal audience achieve their goals. They want to hear about your credentials, your origin story, and why you are the best fit for them.

Keep it short and sweet, but make it personal. Let people get to know you and your team. What’s your ‘why’? What’s your story? People connect with stories, people remember stories. How did your business come to be?  How did you get into this industry? How has it changed lives?

WHO WE ARE

The about page can be about the people behind the business, or about the business itself, the people you serve and the passion behind your mission.

A STORY OF RESILIENCE & OVERCOMING

How we got here

Remember, people tend to scan copy vs reading every line. Try to keep paragraphs between 4-5 sentences long. Personalize the calls to action. Tell people what you want them to do, such as sign up for your newsletter or visit your website.

Be sure to include a humble brag - talk about your strengths and accomplishments. Describe the problem you get to solve and why you are so passionate about it.

CALL TO ACTION HERE

A beautiful & effective website
is within your reach and your power.

Expound on this call to action to illustrate the life/business that your visitor can have vs. the one they may be experiencing.  Try out a creative call to action like "be the hero of your own story" or "the future is calling.
